We are an award winning branding, design and marketing consultancy. We provide a one-stop-shop for owner managed premium brands. Our clients include Gü Chocolate Puds (www.gupuds.com), Dorset Cereals (www.dorsetcereals.co.uk), Deliverance (www.deliverance.co.uk) and sofa.com to name a few.
We are seeking a Senior Web Designer to help us develop our digital team. Someone with strong visual ideas, a passion for typography, an eye for colour and exceptional abilities in the ways of web design.
You will be responsible for taking briefs from Account Managers and the Creative Director working across a wide range of Digital projects. Most of the sites will be consumer facing, some e-commerce, but mostly consumer relations brand sites that will use content management systems and rich media updated on an almost daily basis. We have an editor of all sites who will be responsble for content and a web developer who is responsible for implementation. As the team grows, we will be recruiting more juniors to assist you in this role.
This role demands a team player who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills. You will need a strong attention to detail combined with previous experience gained from working with online brands. Proven experience of developing first class creative and design concepts for premium clients is key to this role. Knowledge of traditional design principles, and an ability to present to clients is a must. Expert knowledge of industry standard software is paramount. You will need to be fully conversant in HTML, CSS and Flash.
