We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative web designer;

• Must have strong HTML / CSS / XHTML / Javascript and Photoshop
• 3 years experience
• Some experience in JSP / Java / scripting
• Solid understanding of usability

We are an experienced consumer electronics product development company working predominantly on communication and VoIP hardware. We develop products for both global market leaders and our own in-house brands. Our online presence will be crucial to the future of our business which is why we have decided to hire an in-house designer rather than continue to use consultancies.

You will be the sole web designer and take responsibility for designing and developing new sites for online projects as well as maintaining and extending the existing company web site. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new web sites that will be entirely your own work and have creative control over your output. The role would be suitable for a freelance/part-time web designer, working 2 or 3 days a week at our offices in Salford, Manchester (near Salford University).

Salary: 19-22k pro-rata (2 days a week equivalent to 2/5ths of the salary)
