WEB DESIGNER - New York, NY

The Web Designer is broadly responsible for determining the best way to visually represent OSI’s identity online. (S)he will be adept at synthesizing and translating raw ideas into clear, efficient, and beautiful designs for the award-winning website, Soros.org, as well as for other interactive projects. The Web Designer reports to OSI’s Web Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Leads creative sessions for the redesign of Soros.org
•Conceptualizes and execute unique, standards-compliant Web design solutions, independently and as part of a team, for a range of Web projects
•Develops rich interactive (Flash) Web interfaces with reusable components that can be carried across multiple product
Qualifications:
•3+ years Web and multimedia design experience (visual and user interface)
• Superior design skills
