This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your skills around developing and monetising websites, very useful skills indeed.
We are: An internet property development firm (IPD), which means we seek out and acquire existing websites in order to develop them further in terms of appeal, traffic and $$ - building up our portfolio/network.
IPD is different because instead of developing sites for clients, we own and directly benefit from everything that we work on. This means pure revenue generating websites, and understanding all aspects of making money online, from which we have an incentive program based on results.
You are: A talented, incredibly enthusiastic and organised person who can manage the development, marketing and traffic generation process for our portfolio sites.
You will:
* have great initiative, be a self-starter and able to work in a team or go solo
* have a good degree (undergrad/postgrad)
* be passionate about the internet and web technologies - geek chic encouraged!
* have knowledge/experience with the web development process, not necessarily on a technical level - but familiarity with HTML, content management systems, pay per click, analytics, email marketing, SEO concepts extremely desirable
* have super communication skills, ability to manage and inspire others - especially outsourced/freelancers
* have ability to write bullet proof specifications based on solid research/analysis
* be happy working in a small team
Responsbilities:
* managing the entire redevelopment process for portfolio sites - analysis, developers, marketing, analytics/tracking:
* analysing niches to understand who the performers/competition are
* creating and managing project plans + specifications
* managing outsourced developers, designers, SEO etc.
* email marketing
* pay per click marketing
* analytics/reporting with optimisation based on results
* working with the research/analysis process where we discover sites
You will work closely with the company director, receiving quick paced on the job training in all aspects of the development/marketing process.
Details: Base salary to £35k based on experience + great incentive program tied to the site portfolio.
We are based close to Old St/Liverpool St Tube. Some remote working possible, but you'd need to be really good.
